The scope of the project is to rehabilitate the existing asphalt surface of Runway 11/29 and the teacup taxiway at Runway 29 at the Upshur County Regional Airport located near Buckhannon, West Virginia. The rehabilitation will consist of removing the existing pavement markings, as necessary, cleaning the surface of all deleterious material, repairing existing cracks and joints by placing a hot poured crack and joint sealing filler, applying a refined coal tar emulsion surface treatment and then placing new airfield pavement markings. The refined coal tar emulsion surface treatment shall be applied in two (2) coats. The project will also include mobilization and any other appurtenances required for a complete project as detailed by the plans and specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group.
