GRW has successfully accomplished dozens of mapping projects throughout the state of Minnesota for MnDOT over the last decade. Tasks have included aerial photography, LiDAR, digital mapping, analytical triangulation, and digital orthophotography. A sample of our projects is shown below:
Corridor Mapping - GRW surveyed and mapped a 150 mile corridor along state route 12, establishing ABGPS/IMU base stations.
District 2, North Central - GRW obtained CIR aerial photography, black/white photography and provided photogrammetric services for six sites in North Central Minnesota, at scales ranging from 250’ - 500’.
TH47 from 167th Avenue North to Isanti County Line - GRW accomplished several aerial photography flights throughout the State of Minnesota, including the areas of Bigelow, Worthington, Morton, Fairfax, Willmar, Danube, and Litchfield, at scales ranging from 1”=250’ to 1”=2000’.
Airport Obstruction Surveys - GRW recently accomplished detailed obstruction surveys for the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Division of Aviation. Locations included the following Minnesota Airports: Anoka County-Blaine Airport, MN; Austin Municipal Airport, MN; Bemidji Regional Airport, MN; Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport - Marshall/Ryan Field, MN; Owatonna Regional Airport, MN.
