This 17,400 SF, two-story addition to the 136th Airlift Wing’s Headquarters Building houses personnel and equipment for the unit's Security Forces Squadron (SFS) at the NAS JRB Fort Worth (Carswell Field).

This facility includes:

  • Command, control and administrative offices
  • Classrooms
  • Weapons simulator
  • Arms vault
  • Storage and maintenance areas
  • Fitness room
  • Locker rooms and restrooms

For this design-build project, GRW developed the conceptual design and bridging documents, as well as provided construction administration services. The facility was designed to meet the USGBC LEED Silver sustainable design criteria and EPAct 2005 energy efficiency standards.
