Nestled in the Guyandotte area of Huntington in West Virginia lies an exceptional boating access resulting from the collaborative efforts between the City of Huntington and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. This project represents exceptional features that will leave any boater in awe. The extra-wide ramp that accommodates two boats launched simultaneously and the ADA-compliant courtesy dock providing quick passenger access are just some of the features that make this project remarkable. The parking lot, which can easily accommodate over fifty cars and trailers, is a testament to the designer’s insight in making boating accessible and convenient for all. One cannot help but appreciate this project's low-impact, green infrastructure techniques, which demonstrate the designers' dedication to environmental sustainability.
